On June 5th, 1956 Don Wong (only 16 at the time) walked through the door with his slick-back hair. Rumor is that he was hired because he owned his own car. Don made a flat rate of $190 per month (230 hours), $3 per day for meals and $0.09 per mile for mileage. Don managed the Medicine Hat office straight through to his retirement in 1992.
Steve Nagy started with the company in July of 1956. Steve was a land surveyor in Calgary from November 1962 until his retirement in 1983. Steve was a perfectionist and strict disciplinarian to survey procedures.
